Tax Preparer required for Hunter Region.

Seeking Tax Preparer’s for our Tax Services client – Multiple Positions.

Location: Maitland, Singleton & Cessnock

Accountable Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for Tax Preparers to work with our clients.

Opportunity to work from Maitland, Singleton or Cessnock offices.

Position Type: Flexible Working Hours – Full time / Part time / Casual (We are seeking multiple positions).

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year

You will have the opportunity to work 10 to 40 hours depending on your family commitments.

About You

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the Tax & Accounting industry and strong knowledge of tax?

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tax Preparer to join our clients upper Hunter Team – Maitland, Singleton & Cessnock.

Opportunity to work:-

  • Opportunity to work Monday to Saturday – you can choose your days.
  • Afternoon or Evening Shifts.
  • Standard office hours.

Roles:

This role provides an outstanding opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills, a love for dealing with clients, and a commitment to delivering excellent tax services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide clear, concise answers to tax-related questions.
  • Stay current with changes in tax legislation and regulations.
  • Manage administrative tasks and follow-up with clients to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Be highly reliable and able to work independently, meeting tasks in a timely manner.
  • Team Player.

Qualifications:

  • Completed Tax Preparation Course or B.Com or TAFE.
  • Proven experience as a Tax Preparer
  • Experience in Tax Services or Accounting Firm is a requirement.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in tax preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with flexible hours.
  • Proactive approach to Research.
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks.
  • Necessary experience with Xero Tax or Hand Tax
  • Experience with Xero invoicing
  • Experience with Excel, Word & Outlook
