Location: Newcastle Position Type: Flexible Working Hours - Full time / Part time / Casual Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the Tax & Accounting industry and strong knowledge of tax? We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tax Preparer to join our clients Newcastle team. This position offers the flexibility to work Full time / Part time / Casual. The position offers a salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year. Opportunity to work:-
  • Standard office hours.
  • Afternoon Shift.
  • Clients Office is Open Monday to Saturday - you can choose your days.
This position provides an outstanding opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills, a love for dealing with clients, and a commitment to delivering excellent tax services. Qualifications:
  • Completed Tax Preparation Course or B.Com or TAFE.
  • Proven experience as a Tax Preparer
  • Experience in Tax Services or Accounting Firm is a requirement.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in tax preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with flexible hours.
  • Proactive approach to Research.
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks.
  • Necessary experience with Xero Tax or Hand Tax
  • Experience with Xero invoicing
  • Experience with Excel, Word & Outlook
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide clear, concise answers to tax-related questions.
